+ Is Childcare Available?
Childcare will not be available at Refresh Kansas City. Due to the nature of topics discussed and to provide participants with the opportunity to relax, though we love kids (and we really love kids), this conference is a “Kid Free” event.
+ What is the cancellation and refund policy?
We are unable to offer refunds or process cancellations, however, we do allow registration transfers please refer to your registration confirmation email for that information.
+ Can I register for one day of the conference instead of the whole conference?
Unfortunately, registration is for the entire conference, but please feel free to come to whichever portions you are able.
+ What if we haven’t adopted/foster yet?
You are welcome to attend! However, this conference is not a recruiting event. Rather, the Refresh conference is about supporting those who are already parenting non-biological kids.
+ Can I bring my baby?
This is a “KID FREE” event. That means as much as we love kids (and we really love kids) we are trying to create an environment where parents and caregivers are able to relax, unwind and of course be Refreshed. So please no children of any age and no exceptions. Our participants thank you!!
+ What meals are included in the price?
Friday’s meals include lunch, snacks and appetizers in the evening. Saturday lunch is available and if you attend the mom’s gathering or dad’s gathering on Saturday morning, breakfast is included as part of the gathering event.
+ What if I have dietary restrictions?
We will not be able to meet every dietary need so please plan ahead and you are welcome to bring your own meals.
+ Are scholarships available?
Not directly through Refresh Kansas City. Many churches provide scholarships to their members. We encourage you to speak to your pastor. If your church will be providing scholarships to 10 or more individuals we can help set that up, please contact Hannah at email@example.com
+ Are there training credits and CEU’s available?
A training certificate will be provided to each participant. Professionals are also able to earn CEU for the pre-conference workshop on Thursday.
